We are going to have enough night games as it is with all these postponements, did we really need another blank Saturday? They should have just changed the kick off to 1pm and people could have watched the England game after. A decent commercial opportunity missed as well as I'm sure people would spend more in the boxes and bars after the Pools game if they could stay on for the England game.

Or alternatively Team Ingerland could have kicked off at 1pm, or 5pm, or 8pm, or Sunday. But no, with an arrogance typical of the FA, they just dump their fixture on a Saturday afternoon and let everyone else reschedule.

It's away, all of England's weekend home games during the season are on a Friday night so nobody has to.

I pay so little attention to England that I didn't even realise they were playing wales at all.

As I said, wankers.

Pools crowd will be lower on the Friday night than if they'd done what you suggested which would've been the best commercial option.

They'd have probably had more in for a 3pm Saturday than moving it to the Friday night too.
