Southampton, Bournemouth, Huddersfield and Charlton. 4 of the top 7 is that?

Gonna be tricky but with CT no where to be seen then we have a good chance for once rolf

We've taken 6 (should have been 7) from the opening 3 games of a very tricky run of 7 fixtures.

Bring on the next four challengers!

I reckon that under Wadsworth we will finally have the balls to beat a 'big' team.

I agree with Groovy - lets concentrate on the cup. This is a huge game for Pools and a good win and a decent draw in the next round could see Ken open the wallet in January. Really chuffed with the win tonight, and in to be honest I can't wait to go to the vic on Saturday - onwards and upwards... rolf rolf

Absolutely. I really believe KH would spend a few quid if we got a belter of a tie in the next round but things like that just don't happen to us...or do they?!

December is probably our hardest month in the league with 4 of the 5 games against top four opposition and then Orient on the 28th who are currently around near us in the table.

I think I'd settle for 7 points but I'm sure Mick will have the lads fired up and be aiming for more than that. We have a more positive outlook these days so lets hope we can shock a few of the 'big boys'.

I'd be happy with 4 points from those 4 games.....we then have 5 games which all look winnable....

We beat top of the league last week comfortably, surely all games look winnable now?

They do in my eyes.

Love it the way some highlight the so called difficult games so narrow down our fixtures to the next 4 games with them being Southampton (H), Bournemouth (A), Charlton (H) Huddersfield (A) why not make it next 10 games then you have the aforementioned 4 followed by

Orient(H) Oldham(H) Notts Co (A) Bristol Rovers(A),[FA Cup permitting, hopefully it will have to be rearranged] Dagenham(H) Peterborough(A) It doesn't look bad. Of the games from 5 -10 there's 4 there that are winnable ( Orient,Oldham, Notts Co, Dagenham) Bristol R is a something game as well

So I will look on the positive side and say that we will get points from the next 4 games and then build on that over the following 6.

I don't get this 'winnable' malarky.

We've beat Brighton comfortably, who is there to be scared of?

No one I'm agreeing with you, people are saying our next 4 games are difficult, no more difficult than Brighton, I've said we'll get points from the next 4 and build on it after that.

The point I was making(maybe badly) is that if someone is saying the next 4 games are difficult why doesn't he use the next 10 games then on his theory, not mine he would have us getting points from them.

All games are "winnable" otherwise teams wouldn't travel. I use to say that when Turner bulled up the so called big teams. It 11 against 11. I never expect us to lose a game if I did I wouldn't go.

That would include a 3rd round FA cup trip to any premiership team. I would go their with hopes of winning.

What are you going on about? I never once said the games arent winnable or we cant get points from then. I simply pointed out that the next 4 games are against teams all at the top of the league and will be tough.

Whilst Im happy to give the cup a good go my point was simply that Im not,at any time, concerned about any game other than the next one.

So my use of winnable wasn't directed at your post, I was answering a couple of posts as I said probably badly.
