For him to be worth that much he would have to have 2 injury free seasons scoring 20plus goals in each. Lets hope his bad luck with injurys is over though....

If it wasn't for his second cruciate injury he wouldn't be at Pools now and would have left for at least twice that amount, in fact I remember Celtic being linked for three times that amount.

He's got as much skill as a fair proportion of the premier league and more than many. If he stays fit from here on in then he will play in that league at some point.

Compare him with Tommy Miller for instance. Tommy was a good player but certainly no better than JB at his best.

Sorry, but when players have been injured as often as Brown, I don't think its solely 'luck' I think part of it his body is just not as strong or as flexible or whatver as others, and he will always be prone to injury.
Its a shame because he is obviously a cracking player--but on the plus side at least we get to keep him for the 20-25 games or so a season he is fit for!
