Absolutely quality night.

From the start with G offy and then the players and Gary Gibson being introduced to the audience.

Joe Allon as compere bringing the players on in 1s and 2s and talking off that season.

The memories they had ,the video of Joe's goal and the season as a whole, seeing John Breward who along with Frankie Baggs were commercial managers that season, the love the players have for him just make that season one I will never forget and the night they give the fans reminiscing one that those who were there won't forget either.

Too many memories from the players to go through. Rob McKinnon being described as a better left back than Nigel Winterburn by his team-mates.

For those who missed it I'm sorry because I really believe you've just missed a great night.

For those who think Gibson took us to the the brink(I'm one of them) to listen to Allon say on numerous occasions that Gibson had a lot to do with this promotion, put a different outlook on the matter.

The video's of the season the pictures of long lost Poolies including Brian Clough, Gus McLean Cyril Knowles Michael Maidens being shown on dvd, a night not to be forgot.

The goals of Allon the whole thing, will live long in my memory.

For those who can't remember it buy the dvd if it's still about live the time we went up.

For the Darlo fans on here hearing Allon saying how good a team they were and beating them, with his goal at Feethams, makes it even more a great time and great night.

I thought it was a bit of a mistake inviting GG along like, but on the whole I really enjoyed it. I had a bit of craic with my Pools hero Paul Baker, who is a really nice bloke, and who speaks with a real affection about his time with us.
Saw one or two Bunkerites there, and the lead singer off of Biffy Clyro is a Poolie too it would appear!
