Incident in CK today - idiot decided to shout abuse at Wadsworth - entitled to his opinion I know - but it was personal abuse and the foul language was way out of order - there were children just in front of him and the family enclosure is further along!! Quite a few told him to shut up!

Towards the end it got heated again and a few were yelling at each other - I called down to the steward - and he told me to shut up!! The same steward who should have told the foul mouthed cretton to shut up!!

Other stewrads came over - one guy at the front stood up yelling abuse - and then singled me out and pointed towards me - telling everyone I was a trouble maker and had caused bother at Scunthorpe!!?? (If he'd said Brighton I'd have agreed with him!!) but Scunny!!?

My point Chip that the abuse towards Wadsworth from this muppet was all personal - no comment about the football - if they thought his team selection was wrong/tactics wrong etc - it was just foul mouthed abuse at him.Out of order

That's exactly why i stopped taking my Nana to Pools years ago. Hear foul language would not only upset the kids it also upset most adults.

Certainly agreeing there are a lot of knobheads who sit directly in the middle at the back of the Mill House side.

What was the personal abuse shouted at Wadsworth?

There was a couple of complete fuckwits today in the Mill House, shouting abuse at players who hadn't been on long enough to make an impact. Lots of it very unpleasant and totally unwarranted.

Why they bother turning out is beyond me.

Aye I know.............why these knobheads turn up is beyond me. They should join all the other knobheads who have decided not to bother coming anymore and leave the supporting of the team to us diehard 2500 fans.
Surely 2500 of us can sustain league one football??? Well we can....can't we??????? Please say we can !!!!!!!!!!!

i wasnt overwhelmed by the team selection and tactics today, but i'm not entirely sure how much scope people think wadsworth has.

people having a go at him need to remember the vast majority of the squad are players he inherited. they also need to remember that our two most regular goalscorers, boyd and brown, are not available for selection.

i have to say i looked at the players on the bench today and it wasn't inspiring.

I think if we had had turner in charge today and got that result people would be going ballistic and calling him worse than shiit. Because it is wadsworth people seem more tolerant BUT wadsworth got it completely wrong today imo. The fact is we were playign a non league team at home (who lets be honest looked woeful) and we played one striker and had liddle playing in midfield. Playing such a defensive formation in such a game is criminal. It was the perfect game to give hassan his debut, i dont care how young he is, he would be a damn site more effective than larkin. We should have had at least two upfront today. Absolutely bizarre.

Some (if not all) of our players were dreadful today. Sweeney was hopeless and even Horwood who has been brilliant this season was dreadful. We dont have a single player who can 'boss' a game and run with the ball apart from Murray possibly (who wasnt playing).

I felt embarrassed for our players today. people will focus on the sending but the main talking point should be our ineptitude. It was shocking.

The return leg certainly isnt a given!

i have it on very good authority (i.e from someone who played alongside him) that hassan is unfortunately not the answer.

You are right about me not having seen him play. I thought he was meant to be decent, strength, pace and an eye for goal. Balls banghead , hoped we had someone decent waiting in the wings sadx

Wadsworth has inherited a poor squad and can't do anything about it until the season is over. His only objective this season is to simply keep us in this league. Irrespective of yesterday's game I've seen enough in the league games to convince me that he will keep us up.

was discusing this with mad john at the youth team game last week.

the kid has made great progress in the last 12 months, he used to look like the son of marcus richardson i.e. bambi on ice, but he has deffo improved all round for whatever coaching they are giving him. at the same time his all round game probably isnt nearly as good as billy greulich , and you wouldnt be shoving billy into your starting line-up even if he was fit.

callum has a big advantage at youth team level where he is physically superior to most of his opponenets. even in reserve team games he is playing against kids a lot of the time.

when we were bottom of division four the step up from the kids team or ressies wasnt massive llike it is to mid table in league 3. personally i believe he needs to keep doing what he is doing now and playing a few reserve team games and building up his confidence.

he isnt ready for the first team imho, and exposure to the millhouse could kill his career stone dead. mad john who has seen him play a lot more than me said much the same thing.

Cheers. fair enough. If thats the case then we dont really have much option up front. Personally I would like to see Poole and Bjornnson up front. They may just click quite well. Larkin is certainly not the answer and I think Turner must have been taking the mick when he signed him.

I agree with that, but the pricks who were shouting that Bjornsson was shite before he had touched the ball yesterday would just ruin it if he missed 2 or 3 chances.
