I'm not saying it aint true, but hasn't that rumour being doing the rounds for about 3 years, since they were last in our division and before that Stretford (or whatever he was called) bought them?

EDIT: tried to trace IOR backwards and didn't get very far! IOR aberdeen (owners of us, Ken Hodcroft is director) is owned by someone called Network Drilling Ltd in the British Virgin Islands. God knows if it is connected to Larsen.

Interesting to see that as at 31 December 2008 they've pumped at least £5,908k into pools (or at least thats the aggregate capital and reserves), makes you think how lucky we've been.

EDIT 2: - "B G Larsen is an indirect minority shareholder in Increased Oil Recovery Ltd and is a shareholder in Larsen Oil and Gas", in terms of the info in the accounts he does own a bit of pools indirectly, could also have links to Network Drilling.

Look we have been here a few times before...

Larsen owns pools he employs IOR to run the club on a day to day basis and Kenneth Is the Acting chairman and owns not one dot of pools.

As for Larsen taking over Wednesday I hope it's Bollocks.
As for IOR leaving I could not give a fiddlers they only act as owners for Larsen......although he owns them aswell so it makes good business sense.

Like I have said many times before worry when Larsen has had enough!

who knows, accounts suggest its Network Drilling who own IOR, but as its registered in British Virgin Islands its impossible to find out who owns that, could be Ken, could be Larsen, could even be Chip!

A bit of not very joined up thinking there. You dismiss IOR's possible departure and say worry when Larsen has had enough ... I think that you'll find that if IOR did leave and applying your very own logic, that that would be pretty good nailed on indication he has had enough.

Mr Larsen the legal owner is a very wealthy man who has a multitude of Business/Company interests all over the world.

Obviously he can not watch over them all.... so he either hires a Management team to take on the day to day running of the club at more cost to himself or he instructs one of his own ie...IOR to take it on and then I suppose the cost is then swallowed up in his business?.

Now if IOR his choice for running the club day to day are not producing the goods for whatever reason.... he can remove them at his free will & replace them with a like for like company which would probably be one of his own again to take on this task.

Kenneth is the Managing Director of IOR only in title not legal.

Albeit Mr Larsen owns IOR the Company. Just because he may decide IOR are not producing the goods anymore for us HUFC....It does not mean they IOR are going to the wall, IOR as a company do a lot more than just run HUFC.

Mr Hodcroft does not own Hartlepool United.... Berg Larsen does and Kenneth is answerable to him on a day to day basis.

Like I said I would be concerned if Mr Larsen has had enough altogether! not if he no longer feels IOR are capable of taking the club any further.

Well that sounds a lot more convincing than any of the other "stories" being put about in the last couple of years.

Why do people find it so difficult to understand the line of heirarchy at Pools, Ken Hodcroft does not own the club, he is the MD of IOR, employed by Mr.Larsen to oversee it's day to day running. He is an employee (who could be removed fom his position at any time) just as my MD at work could also.

Although it must be pointed out that some MD's can also be the owner of the company (if it's theirs)should they choose to want to be.

Yes we know Hodcroft's role at the club and indeed his place in the order of things ... a sort of nanny. But I suspect if IOR do depart in Uncle Ken's escape pod, it will be a sign that the end is nigh overall.
