That's Pools in round one of the League Cup.
We've taken some canny scalps along the way in our eight consecutive round one victories.
Long may it continue. clappp

It wasn't too long ago that a Cip run to Pools was a first round replay. It is a good run in the League Cup we've got going.

I know this is nothing to do with Pools but heard on the League Cup show that Leeds have never been beaten in the first round.

I think the fixtures for wigan have been kind to Pools and they will field a weakened team. I can see a Stoke result coming on, the player to keep quiet if he plays is Moses hopefully Gamble will kick him in the first half to keep him on his toes.

I don't understand why so many people think Wigan will be saving themselves for Chelsea and Spurs.

They're not exactly 6-pointers, are they?

I'd be far happier if they were playing Blackpool and West Brom.
