"We have nothing concrete to report but as soon as we have something the supporters will be the first to know," Mandaric said.

See? It's easy when you know how.

Edit: sorry, yubep, I know you've said that already.

Did anybody else see News at Ten last night which said something along the lines of, "oil industry bosses have always been very poor in their ability to deal with the media"?

It made me think of Uncle Ken, and to be honest in spite of all the good things that IOR have done for Pools over the years (and hopefully will continue to do in the future as they're the best thing to ever happen to HUFC) their one real fault is that they do seem to have a very poor way of dealing with the media.

Very true Mr Ripper, but as we live in a society that craves information and plugs the gaps between news with speculation and rumour silence is never a good thing.

Personally like, I'd rather have IOR who are keeping it zipped then that feller, he did Portsmouth very little good after all

And the statement really says nowt, it's all wind and pish after all

I know it can get frustrating when it is perceived that we are being kept in the dark. But haven't IOR always said if and when we have something definite to tell the fans we will do so.
They have never wavered from that stance, so I don't suppose that they have any intentions of saying anything until a deal is finalised.
Whereas, me being a nosy bugger and all, and I would love them to tell me everything that goes on, I don't expect them to.
Adding everything up IOR have certainly improved the club.
Today's frustration and concern among fans is a perception of us standing still or even going backwards and, in certain respects, a fear that IOR are losing interest.
If they do lose interest then that is their prerogative and that bridge will be crossed if and when it happens. Until then we have to accept that they have a way of doing things whether we like it or not.

Latest in the Mail today!!

http://www.hartlepoolmail.co.uk/hufc/Po ... 6441163.jp

SportMail rubbished rumours of a Sunday newspaper report suggesting £10million was set to be invested in the club earlier this month.

But IOR conduct oil and gas deals throughout the world and speculation has been rife that one of their business associates is set to invest.
