I've been sent the season ticket renewal form and it went straight into the bin.

This is the first season in 14 I won't be a season ticket holder and YES IT HURTS ( banghead ) but I will not renew until Turner leaves.

Last season I gave in and renewed after the invesment in new players but Turner has had enough chances.

No doubt a few on here will have something to say but I'm sick of the poor execuses he gives after a bad performance and his lack of obvious capability in motivating the players.

My prediction for the 2010/2011 season: we will struggle again sadly rage

some, like yourself, will decide not to renew because of lack of faith in the manager.

others will decide to continue and support the team and club regardless of what happens with the manager.

personally I hope more people do the latter.

I must admit I wont be renewing either, first time for a long time. Just lost the enthusiasm with this numpty in charge, sick of his pathetic excuses time after time, how on earth this bloke is still in a job beggars belief.
Mind I'll probably still go to most the games anyway

Not renewing either. Il pick and choose and maybe go to 3 or 4 games till he is gone.

I'm getting one.
I love going to pools and would be going to every game regardless of whether I got a ticket or not:)

As things stand I wont be renewing. If we make some good signings then I may well change my mind. Only some good signings can make up for the fact that Tubby is in charge.

And in other news I won't be boycotting watching the World Cup on the telly just because I think that Adrian Chiles is an irritating brummy qunt.

When my pack arrives, I'll get my season ticket and take advantage of the early bird offer and 10 month interest-free payment option.

I'm not happy with Turner remaining in charge, but I'd go to most of the games anyway - so in for a penny, in for a pound.

Plus, what else is there to do on a Saturday afternoon?

I will be renewing, whether that's a good idea or not only time will tell.

I'm still in the same corner as I have been and unless totally proved wrong will remain in it, people on here don't need telling what corner that is.

But the simple fact is I'm a Hartlepool United Football Club supporter , first and foremost.

Managers, and players will come and go, but the Club will, hopefully always be there, for me and many others and hopefully any new supporter who will take up Pools.

I know regardless of what happens next season I will attend every home League game and for that reason it benefits me to purchase, and it hopefully benefits Pools as my £315 will soon be in their bank account.

Whether I attend as often away from home is at this moment in time debatable. But at least by not attending away games I'm not depriving Pools of any money.

I fear though that I may well be criticising what happens on the pitch next season more than I want to. The fact I will criticise Pools is because I know they can perform way better than last season. Whether they do is another question, I see another season of struggle ahead please let me be wrong.

To be pedantic, how would you define Hartlepool United Football Club, independently of managers and players? Particularly as you go on to say that you know that 'Pools' (ie. the current players?) can perform better than they did last season?

As I understand it you only get the early bird offer if you pay in full by the 28th June, so for instance for the Town End it would cost you £315; but the interest free option would be £354, that is 10 payments of £35.40 plus an initial admin charge of £10 to be paid when it is set up. I don't think you can do both!!

Why do some fans take it personel that some other fans might not be re-newing there season ticket or not going to pools anymore.
Surely its up to them what they do with there time and money, sctatchinghead

We have the same shiit before every season.

Basically those who dont renew are inferior and not true fans.

I'll be renewing because I enjoy going to the game with my mates and I like where we sit. We have a good drink on a Saturday and it's something to do during the winter. The worst part of Saturdays last season was normally the match. It's more of a social thing than anything these days for me. I'd love a bit of 'buzz' to return about the actual match next season.

I can completely understand why people wouldn't renew and wouldn't dream of having a go at anyone who didn't.

Threads often do deviate from the initial post, though, don't they?

There's no point in making a mountain out of a molehill, but the fact is that it's common practice among some posters to criticise the decisions of others who say they're stopping going to matches, or are not renewing season tickets. I don't see why you have to be sarcastic about those of us who've noticed that.

I don't think anybody takes it personally that others may or may not buy a season ticket. It's generally the outpouring of bile that accompanies their need to make an announcement on the matter which attracts the attention.

I apologise, then, for accusing you. It's easy to misinterpret tone, on message boards.

I concur with Tory Boy

Fair do's if you aren't buying a ticket, the decision is yours and yours alone

But the banging of teeth and moaning that goes with makes one rather weary
