like mutters said ask the guests at the wedding who have digital cameras to give you a disc with the photos on then you can pick the best out and compile your own wedding album

Janet Warren did ours, and she was excellent. In fact, we returned to her to have a family portrait type thing done, she's very good.

How many people actually look at their wedding pictures?

I have to say not a fan of any "cheesey" pictures in general, like my two graduation pictures I wouldnt have got one done but its was more a day for my parents than me, I hate the dam things my stupid mug smiling back at me every time I go home.

Just reminds me I was a lot skinnier and more youthfully handsome back then.

We're booking up with Rainbow Photographers at the weekend. Had a good look through their portfolio and their pictures are really good. Not too expensive either.

We went for the DIY and it turned out really well. Some professionals are really good, but I've been to too many weddings were all I remember is the over fussy potographer that took up half the day resulting in every shot being staged. Get them to take some close ups of the bride and groom and 3 or 4 group shots then tell them to take loads of ad hoc/candid shots during the wedding and reception.

Andrea Ayre done my wedding last summer. she was top notch.

Her studio is Exposure, opposite Reef Clothing and a couple doors down from Morrells.

She offered us sound avice and that was to create a shortlist and visit each one to have a look at their styles of work. We loved Andrea's work though and were sold as soon as wee senn it. Luckily she was our last call
