even though Tranmere is in the North, it's almost as far away as Walsall and Peterborough!!!

It's true! Brighton for example is closer to Germany than Hartlepool.

I've heard IOR are buying a Lear jet for next season so the team can fly to most of the games darn sarf.

You have the Wendies in the Midlands section and Rochdale in the North, yet Sheffield is closer to us than Rochdale is :wink:

It's a hundred miles South of Hartlepool and besides, they'll hate being referred to as anything other than Northerners. thats as good a reason as any to call them midlanders.
