I had an interesting conversation last night with someone quite close to the club's senior management.
When I asked why hadn't Ken Hodcroft made a managerial change after saying the last time we were relegated that he wouldn't make the same mistake again, I was told that he is fed up and wants out.
So I asked if that meant he wants IOR to put someone else in charge the reply was that he wants IOR to sell up and move on stating that to go any further would need much more funding and was not recommending it.
I guess this explains the apathy around the club at present and when IOR see the poor uptake of season tickets next season, whichever division we're in, they must wonder whether it is worth staying.

Don't ask me to reveal my source because I won't but other struff that I have heard from the same source has always been genuine.

Interesting and a bit worrying.

FYI HTH Hodcroft just works for LOG much like Turner does ,he doesn't own it or owt...
Probably Hodcroft will be back up to Newcastle now they're in the premiershit he spends enough time there anyway.. Maybe with the increase in oil price he want to loose even more money and he wants LOG want to sponsor them instead??

If IOR do ever decide to move on id like to see a similar set up like Exeters where apparently the club is run by the fans?
Exeter haven't done too bad although their fan base is higher than ours.

I agree with Pierrepoint, Larsen Oil own us not IOR and some bitter and twisted old man who has tried to ruin us just because "he's fed up with it all". If he's that fed up he should go and let somebody who is interested do the job. IOR are not invincible, they can be removed and replaced if LOG should wish to, Ken should watch his thoughts, he just might get what he wished for.

I also think its a good idea about the fans owning the club like Exeter City, I'd go for that too

Perhaps these rumblings may be a ploy to twist the councils arm regarding the sale of Victoria Park. Seems pointless IOR being so deep in negotiations and then just having the "had enough, taking me ball home" attitude.

IOR or LOG or DNO. What I meant was, the clubs owners.

If Hodcroft is fed up he must have an inkling as to what the fans feel.
