right Mr Hodcroft, i have a deal for you.

If you can do everything in your power to sign this fella, then i won't give a shite if you keep Turner on as manager. No honestly, i won't.

We have 19 points from the 12 games since he signed, which over a season would result in 72 points which is almost play-off level.

If the bloke wants 5 grand a week, then give him it. Move heaven & earth to sign him and the Poolies will be out in force next season.

He certainly has looked very good since he signed. I still think he needs to work slightly on his first touch (despite a superb touch for his first goal) but hats off to the lad for his two goals today.

The idea of him and Brown playing regularly upfront together next season makes me feel very hopeful.

having him, Brown & Boyd as choices for next season would bring back a good few hundred fans, so he will actually pay for himself.

Turner should be begging hodcroft to get O'donovan signed

Roy is a class act and his attitude is a breath of fresh air for a loan player.

Without him we would be going down.

Fact.

I can remember a certain person saying Nardiello would score more goals for Oldham when he signed than Boyd, Brown and O Donnovan.

i very much doubt he will get another contract near that.

3-4k a week possibly, no doubt Roy Keane will be watching, salivating at the prospect of signing an Irishman
