Perhaps they think IOR should sell to an arab consortium like Man City or even Notts County. Perhaps they would like another Gibson.

IOR have made some mistakes but at least they have run the club on a sensible footing.

These people are either on genuine wind ups or are, as Chip has put it, compete and utter thicketts who have absolutely no grasp of perspective or, indeed, history.

They are best ignored.

is it like missionary work or summat chris ? you know you go in amongst the heathens and try and teach them about the modern world ?

if so its very admirable. but remember them missionaries what went to africa and that in the earliest days took with them diseases what wiped out entire tribes.

I don't have the clap anymore if that's what you mean?

Its a difficult situation.
Firstly turner has more or less done the job he was asked to do - preserve league one status.
Secondly the anti turner group is growing with many refusing to go next season if he is still in charge.
Of course, a lot of the football this season has been nothing short of awful.
Its also unlikely IOR are wanting to invest in new players if the crowds remain so low.
My opinion, and i'll probably get shot down for saying this but if IOR do want turner to stay in charge then give him the first 10 games of next season, if its still shite then let the protests commence.
He has a large enough squad to play with and as most will agree enough talent to compete in league 1 next season.
I don't rate him as a manager and his previous employment does support this but he did a decent job first time round and just, maybe just he gets the team off to a decent start next season then who knows.
However, if IOR decide to appoint a new manager then i'd be absolutely over the moon.
Now, i'll just start on that 5th whiskey bbolt

The facts speak for themselves sadly, and there is enough evidence to suggest that Chris Turner will always be a 1 win in 4 manager. He is a poor manager, there is absolutely no debate about it...his signings, his tactics, his manmanagement, his lack of ability to motivate, his substitutions and the bullshit he comes out with post match are never going to chance. He is sheer rubbish.

The fact we have the talent at our disposal to finish top half of the table is another reason to get rid of him, lets get someone in who can get the best out of Jones, Monkhouse, Sweeney, Hartley, Brown and Boyd who all possess talent but are so inconstent it beggars belief. If we get those 6 players playing more consistently, throw in Austin and Flinders plus a couple of additions and there is no doubt we have the chance to have a fantastic season. Leave it the way it is and we'll be scrapping with relegation again and crowds will be even lower than Tuesday night.
