Hello all!

Hereford fan here in peace - I was just wondering if any of you kind hearted people have a spare copy of the 1996/97 Hartlepool Vs Hereford programme.

It was a Division 3 game played at your place on 28 December 1996 and you won it 2-1!

Please let me know!

Hello mate,

Hereford United, the only club who stood by Pools when we had the big fire back in the seventies. Newcastle, Sunderland, Middlesbrough etc all turned their noses up but Hereford bought Pools a complete strip out of the goodness of their hearts.

Also my old mate Phil Stant was bought out of the army by them and did quite well.

My cousin John Layton and his father John as well played and managed Hereford United.
