A £350'000 payday is none too shabby either. Why don't Pools ever take it seriously!!!

Really good effort by both sets of fans though, surely for teams like us this should be the one cup we really graft in?

Matty Robson had a shocker. When did he start with all the diving? The commentators made mention of it and that's the 3rd or 4th time I've heard this lately...never did it with us but then he was never allowed to play that far forward with us...

I've just seen the highlights now on the web. If the highlights were anything to by, than as a contest, that was quite possibly the worst Wembley cup final I've ever seen.

Apart from one piece of magic from Matty Robson down the wing, I thought Carlisle were awful judging by the highlights. The only shot they had was them grabbing a consolation.

If I was a Carlisle fan and had travalled all that way to see them in the JPT final, I wouldn't be very happy to be honest after that performance.

You could tell how seriously the Saints fans were taking the day at Wembley. When they scored, they didn't celebrate very vigourously, their cheers died down within a matter of seconds.

If that had been 'Pools at Wembley, however....
