It's a shame for Bridge that he had to make this kind of decision. Might have been better if he's just chinned Terry when they meet at the weekend then they can both move on.

Sounds like he's gonna sue him instead, seeing as though the statement has come from a solicitor.

He's claiming that his position in the squad has been made untenable I believe, therefore there could be an angle to go for loss of earnings (does his club contract have international clauses?), sponsorship etc. If he can prove pure financial loss directly related to the incident then he could have a case.

So who's going to replace Terry, when Bridge Breaks his legs with a tackle when the play. Do you think Bridge will be bothered with a 3 game ban or longer for what Terry has done!!!

Or maybe he should have been the bigger man and held his head up high and played for his country?

I suspect the chances of him being the "bigger man" are somewhat slim.

Terry should try and be a bigger man and offer to step down out of the squad. He won't as he is a classless chav.

Bridge has done the decent thing for the squad, if he'd have turned up a split would have been created immediately within the camp. Would you want to play alongside some fooker you probably want to twat? He clearly totally despises the fooker and I bet a few of the England squad do as well.

Bin the chav Capello you know it makes sense I'd love to see that!!

at the end of the day, he puts his family before making a few bob or kicking a ball about.

which suggests he has a bit of class about him.

more than can be said for terry, who is a fooking spiv, and a scumbag. as are his lowlife family.

bri, if you engage your brain and overlook what has been said in the news of the screws, his ex who is desperate to get bak with him, is hardly likely to admit to sleeping with terry while she was seeing bridge is she ? and bridge is hardly likley to feel the way he does if he didnt blame terry for breaking his family up.

HTH.

well why would she go to max clifford and make a statement live on sky saying it was an affair after she split from bridge

Even if they are true they would be totally irrelevant.

He took the trouble to try to stop the papers blabbing by forking out a huge amount of dosh on a super-injunction. Sounds like an admission of guilt to me.

John Terry shagged a far fitter women in Bridges ex, I am not saying it was right and he should have split with his missus before doing it. But he did better and you cant knock a man for going up in the world

Not really, check out the carefully selected legal speak in the statement.

Going by your thinking there'd be no such thing as constructive dismissal either.

wayne bridge should do a 'freddy got fingered' and snap Terrys leg so the bone is poking through the skin. And while terry is in sheer agony, bridge should kneel down and start licking the protruding bone.

If he did that he should be made England captain.

sorry, but im going to believe bridge before i believe a grade one cock like terry.

Chip is right.

Terry did the dirty on his team-mate & didn't even then do the decent thing by resigning himself.

Credit to Capello for taking the captaincy off the fooking piece of shyte & then issuing a conduct warning to the whole squad.

I've no time for scum like Terry & A(rsehole) Cole.

It DOES matter what you do off the field & any one that can't see that has no clue about teamwork & looking out for your mates & colleagues.

All credit to Capello & I hope Bridge breaks Terry's legs.

Terry is a Kunt.............so whats new, he always has been. I feel for Bridge and understand why he feels unable to play in the same team as the Kunt but IMO, he's making a huge mistake with the world cup still 3 mths away and yes I know he's probably doing the honourable thing so Capello can line up someone else.

BTW, Ashley Cole will be back in anycase. FACT

What I heard on the Radio the other day was disgusting. People accusing Bridge of being a bottler, and walking out on his country. That couldn't be further from the truth. Bridge has done the decent thing and given us a better chance of winning the World Cup by keeping the dressing room harmony.

Imagine he went, and Terry got the winning goal in the final. Bridge is sat on the bench whilst the rest of the squad are licking JT's balls and kissing his boots?

Bridge is the only one to come out of this with any credit whatsoever.

It's all about 'trust', a concept alien to a lot of the grossly overpaid chavs in Ferraris, most of whom if they hadn't got into football would have trouble filling the form for their jobseekers allowance.
