I reckon now they've lost one (quite heavily) they'll get stuck in a downward destructive spiral, confidence shot, self implosion, failure to find the back of the net, so will probably lose the next 10 on the trot. to be fair newcastle have played shit football this season, but they've ground out wins and been consistently better than everyone else, i'm surprised how many of the top plays stayed when they went down, i wanted a mass exodus and then a leeds style slip down the leagues.

They've kept the right type of players more by luck and the fact nobody wanted them more than anything else.

The likes of Smith, Nolan, and Butt would shoe their Grannie if it was for a 50:50 ball. Good keeper and good defence for that level, the left back Enrique would be one of the better full backs in the Premiership.
