Just a couple of serious points in relation to the plethora of wind up rubbish posted on this thread so far:

1. Pools do not need any lessons in financial and personnel management from anyone associated with Darlington FC who are now going for a hat trick of administrations in the last ten years.

2. like most Leeds fans the guy who suggested clubs should switch there home games to Elland Road is out of touch with reality. Even if it was meant humourously the statement that "little" clubs switch venues in FA Cup ties is well out of date as the FA haven't allowed this for several years.

Incidentally it is hard to argue with the view that our gates are shite, not as shite as Darlo's however you slice it, though!!!

On a whole Leeds have more support than Newcastle.
All of the Newcastle support comes from the North East, which explains why they get big home crowds, outside of this area nobody cares for them.

Thats how it should be the club thats closest to which you were born in or reside in should be your club, FACT!

Yorkshiremen think inwardly for some unknown reason.
They are continually telling anyone who cares to listen how good they are, how great their county is.
The reason for this is their inbreeding which in turn causes an urge to hide their inferiority complex, making them want to drive Yorkshire down everyone else's throat. This is based on the idea that if they say how good they are often enough then they'll actually start believing it themselves. Leeds fans are an epitomy of this.
The problem they've got is that it has the opposite effect. Everybody just shakes their heads in pity and disbelief.............
I mean how many people actually chant their county name in a football crowd????
We know they're from Yorkshire.................it's painfully bloody obvious.....................no need to remind us.

This inbreeding and inferiority complex actually manifests itself perfectly in the attitude of Leeds fans....................they are delighted to be hated, they actually wallow in it.

If thah does owt for nowt...do it for thee sen..........................................doesn't that tell you everything you need to know.

They should all be humanely killed. Or inhumanely come to that, I'm not that fussed about the method.

My dad used this to describe them:
"Working class people similar to Durham folk, but with their brains taken out"

I'm going to get my other half to read this thread. Being a Lancashire lad, he'll be in his element. He might even buy a round of drinks for people who've added a post (except woody, of course.)

Obviously I don't really think all Yorkshire people are the same, but...... I used to go and stay with relatives in Harrogate when I was little, and something I always noticed was that the kids there did and said things I regarded as 'soppy'.
A marked difference from north-east kids, even tho looking back we were quite naive and innocent ourselves in those days
