Driving home I almost put my fist through the radio. They had Lawrenson on babbling about tomorrows FA Cup ties and he reckoned that the really exciting game was............ Man United v Portsmouth. FOOKING WHY ?

It's just another premiership game isnt it? No different to any other Saturday. If there is anything exciting about the FA Cup then surely its the chance of the Davids slewing the Goliaths. Admitedly the cup has lost a lot of it's glitter but there is nothing attractive about something that is just like last week and the same as next week.

Twat!

I have to say it's when the Premiership Bias like this goes into overdrive that I start hoping that Colchester actually make it up this season. I have no great love for them (Was it Steve Whitton that reckoned he'd resign if we finished ahead of them after we'd beaten them a few years back?) but I think it would really get up the noses of the likes of Hansen, Lawro, and also the teams - can you imagine Man Utd or Liverpool's reaction at being told they had to go and play at Layer Road?

I fucking hate 'Football Pundits'!!!! rage

But last week was a beauty....

Mark 'never put a foot wrong' Lawrenson saying on Look North that newcastle would hammer Birmingham in the cup cos the Blues are concentrating on getting back in the premiership so this game just gets in the way and Newcastle will be to strong for them anyway!!!!

After Birmingham put away the 3rd goal Mr.Know'all....'Birmingham are just superb....much too strong for Newcastle'!!!!

The Premiership will eventually, and probably sooner rather than later, turn like the Rugby Union Premiership, where they'll shut the gates. They tried to keep Rotherham out and only just failed.

When someone like Wigan gets promoted into it they smile patronisingly and pat them on the head and think, well they won't be long will they. They really only want eight teams in there. Look at Scotland, if they chop and change any more Hibs, Hearts, Celtic and Rangers will just play each other every week.
