So obviously we all think Jones should be starting for Richie but do you think he will do it?

If ever there was an opportunity for Turner to start changing opinions of him then it has to start with this surely?

I'd imagine he will but I don't think it requires a poll, Ritchie doesn't deserve singling out and to become a figure of derision, someone has came on and took their chance and should keep his place next week it's not really a big deal.

Humphries will probably play at left back next game.

The question asked was 'will he' rather than 'should he', so the answer is a 'no' from me.

Of course he will. Sweeney scored and Jones has to play, in the last half an hour our midfield performed better than it has for years with Gamble bossing the game he inadvertently stumbled on a quartet that works.

The bloke is not a total idiot and it's not as if he hasn't left Ritchie out before. He is one player, why single him out? Did you see his reaction when we equalised yesterday? He was on the pitch!! He's team man, he hasn't been picking himself and isn't his fault we didn't have a left back for two years.

So isnt every single member on this board "singling him out" by saying Jones should start instead of him???? sctatchinghead

We all must remember that were not allowed to give an opinion of who should play instead of someoen else because its "singling them out"

Christ sake.

A poll about one player being dropped like it's a massive deal and has never happened before......

Is it really necessary? It's the most obvious team change in the history of team changes, it's like have a poll before a game involving Michael Mackay

re; Will he be caught offside?

Yes, of course he fooking will!!

No. I have never said anything along those lines. I don't care if they field Kenny Johnson at 70-odd years old as long as they compete.

He's not 'shit' at all, he has done a job in midfield this season before we signed Gamble having a few decent games, yes he's had some bad ones as well but so have quite a few others.

The time has come were he should probably be a squad player rather than a shoe in starter at League One level. We've got Gamble now who will play the same role but just dot it better I don't see any of room for the two of them in the same midfield.

I disagree PJ, I think he IS shit. Sorry and all that. I wouldnt even have him a a squad player. I would sooner have the youth players who are on far less wages on the fringes of the 1st team.

I agree, Humphries role should be confined to cameo appearances at best. Remember though this is a man, who only 6 days ago, by the admission of Norwich fan's , ran the show in midfield during that game.
