Laughed out loud when she called Mandelson a CU*T.
Winnie Mandela was a good watch as well.

People on both sides of the gender divide must agree that there aren't enough mams in politics.
Mams have hands-on experience, based on what works. You wouldn't catch them inventing imaginary weapons in Iraq so that there sons and daughters could be shipped over there to be killed.

She wasn't a 'Mam' though was she, from what I've read recently she was never interested in having kids.

Mere quibble, BP.
Point is, she [i]behaved[i] like a mum. Unlike, say, the Iron Lady, who was an honorary man despite having given birth to the terrible twins

Yeah and hopefully neither of them have inherited the "dominant" gene.

Just seen it on the web. It was excellent. I think Julie Walters should be in the running for a BAFTA for her performance as Mo especially after Mo's illness deteriorated.

Funniest moment of the drama: Mo waving her hand up and down to indicate that Mandelson was taking over as Secretary of State for Northern Ireland.

Question: Why is it that people think Peter Mandelson is such a slimy person?
