Sorry to hear that, although there aren't many of them left now.
I saw most of his home games for Pools. A good wing half with a tremendous attitude and totally committed.
Newton, Moore, Stamper. Till the day I die that half back line will always be permanently tattooed in my brain.

That team of the fifties means everything in football to me.
