I wasn't at Carrow Rd Aly but Loughlin reckons Humps was our best player against Norwich.
I think against Leeds we should probably stick with Sweens & Humps leave Behan out put Jones in & play a 4-5-0 formation.
That way we might just hang on for 0-0 & stop bloody Beckford from scoring again banghead .

Only joking but it has probably crossed Tubster's mind.

Come On Pools- let's take at least a point of the arroganht cnts.

Laughlin always reckons Humps is motm though so i wouldnt take much notice.

4-5-0? Playing with a player less might make it tricky?

For Saturday as Turner already has a 'They are a big team with big players' excuse at his disposal then I think the starting 11 should be.

Cook
Austin
Cherel
Collins
Hartley
Rowell
Gamble
McSweeney
Fredriksen
Monkhouse
Foley

Shit off i'm taking me ticket back. Foley can't spell football let alone play the game, and Fredriksen definately can't...

I shall elaborate. The current strike rate of our forwards is dire, Larkin and Behan both had good chances at Norwich and ballsed them up, Boyd is looking off the pace, Bjornsson doesn't seem to fit into our team and Greulich hasn't shone when brought on. Foley, Tymon or Greulich should be given a crack as they are forwards and of those Foley has scored at first team level more than once.

Maybe Chris Turner isn't that bad after all  That team would lose 5-0.

Foley up front on his own, really?? rolfl

Got to be a piss take!

Humphreys had a good game at Norwich, close to MOTM in my opinion but not quite, played well till probably tired towards the end. So from someone who doesn't watch games with any, preconceived idea's and thinks player's should be picked on what he has done in previous games then Humphreys has done to keep his place. I can see the same team starting as did at Carrow Road.

If I picked teams on the whole season form then Jones for Sweeney would be my only change.

If he sticks with 4-5-1 we need someone to burst from the midfield i think Foley could do a job playing just of Behan.

He couldn't do the job he isn't good enough, he's been proven not to be good enough in 98 football league appearances in which he hasn't scored!

God times must be hard. Not playing doesn't half make you a better player in peoples minds!

Just a thought, i would revert back to 4-4-2 and get at the kunts

Here's my team

Flinders GK

Austin RB
Hartley LB
Collins CB
Liddle CB

Sweeney RW
Monkhouse LW
Gamble CM
Jones CM

Boyd CF
Behan CF

I think the back 5 pick themselves at the minute, the midfield i would put Jones in there alongside Gamble simply as he is one of the better more creative players we have and i think Boyd would thrive on the service from him and also the wings, i also think Behan would be better suited to getting the ball into feet and letting Jones bomb forward the way Sweeney used to years ago.

FFS Turner man, we are the home team none of this 4-5-1 negative dross PLEASE!!
