By this board really knows how to cheers people up!!!

Moan moan moan moan that's all it is now!!

When was the last time there was a positive post about anything!!

I've even starting to read OO's thread to cheer up a bit!!

Mr I you must really wonder if the cash you pay to keep the board open is really worth it!!

I'm not saying everything is rosie far from it but I'm sure everyone is trying to do something about it at the club only for everything to get pulled to bits time after time........

Spon Mr H99.

Last night was a point gained rather than two lost.

Gillingham are a big club after all, we're punching above our weight just to be in the same division as them.

Some folk don't realise how lucky they are, especially us having a former Sheffield Wednesday manager running our team. They're a big club too you know.

It's shocking that some people are disappointed with our league position as there's no way that the teams below us will possibly catch us up. They have to play the big clubs and there's no way that the likes of Exeter and Orient could possibly beat the likes of Leeds or Charlton so what's the problem?

I and other's post things as we see them, as you have here.

I disagree that the majority moan, some do, but a lot offer constructive criticism and call things as they see it. With reasoned arguments. You can't honestly expect people to come on here praising last night. I praised the team after Bristol, but that was the same starting 11 and they were nowhere near as good as Saturday. So if I come on here and comment on last night then it would be to moan(as you put it)

Or maybe I should just come on and post after we have played well.

Toeing the party line comes to mind !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What on God's Earth have we got to be cheerful about???? sctatchinghead sctatchinghead

We've got a bloke 'managing' the team and has been for over a year now....and he's taking Pools down....no question about that!!!! banghead banghead

And it was only supposed to be temporary....wasn't it???? sctatchinghead

He cannot manage....that has been proved by his remarks about tactics a few weeks ago....but now talks about tactics and formations as the way forward!!!!

Look....I like the bloke a lot....but not as Manager....and I hope he goes soon before he has a Mental Breakdown cos it looks like he's on the verge of one with some of the stuff he's coming out with!!!! sadx sadx

I'm not going back until he has gone....that's how strongly I feel about it!!!!

When I wanted 'Scooty' out....I went to the game and got a banner out....then got chucked out....on my first game back!!!! :uhoh:
But I wouldn't want to do that to Turner....that's why I'm keeping away....(and the shite Football like)!!!! confised

Cheerful!?!? rolfl

Very good post Mr Mutley, and I agree with almost all of that except the not attending til he's gone bit. I'll almost certainly still go to the next game against Leeds, although it will be more for the craic with the lads before, during and after the game than through any expectation of being entertained or Pools putting up any kind of reasonable showing if he's still managing the team. If none of my mates are getting tickets though I wouldn't be distraught at the thought of giving it a miss myself like I did last night.

I can honestly say that I didn't miss going last night, I was more relieved that I'd decided not to put myself through the current cack that they're producing. I shouldn't be feeling like that I know but the more he talks everybody else up he's also talking us down and pretty much saying to the fans that they shouldn't waste their money expecting us to compete in this division and that we'd be better of staying at home with the family or finding something more worthwhile to fill our time.

Cook in milk for about 3 hours with onions and plenty of seasoning , then thicken the juices with a little cornflour and water
