Im getting a bit worried about Flinders. I said this in a thread earlier but the guy looked a worldbeater when he signed but he is deteriorating noticably. Soft goals, poor on crosses and caught in no-mans land many times making way to easy for opposition strikers to score.

Maybe its not his fault, maybe the standard of keeper coaching is simply not up to scratch? Who knows?

All I do know is that he is comparable to Budtz and ALB over recent games.

I'm usually the last to apportion blame, but out of the seven players who need to be watching that DVD today, Scott Flinders needs to look most closely. Having said that, I think he's good enough to recover from a mauling like that.

I hope so as he was looking like being a top class signing.

How on earth can you try to lay the blame at CT for Flinders drop in confidence (if that is what he's going through)? Pools have a goalkeeping coach whose job is to look after the keepers - and I'm not saying it's the coach's fault either.

We are all hurting after yesterday's defeat, but all perspective is going out of the window

I presume Dibble was blaming Ct for destroying Flinders' confidence as he picked a bad team with players out of position. This largely contributed to the drubbing.

Lack of confidence could well result in drop of form, look at the way the team is playing, shite

Agreed, but how can Flinders lack of confidence be CT's fault, which is where this thread started?

maybe because CT is not doing his job properly which results in defeats and notably yesterdays drubbing (which was long overdue imho)
