Cant really speak for all students, cos no doubt there are a lot of lazy feckers, however in my mind i reckon a fair share of students will be the future of the country.

What's the problem Bob? Jealous of those who are making something of their life? In a thread full of smug Leeds fans, you choose to turn on POK?

Its an ironic possibly rhetoric P*** take thread, nothing more.

But 99% of students do fall into category 7. rolfl rolfl

And where in my post am I turning on POK in particular. The question/Poll is directed towards students as a whole, your presuming incorrectly it directed particularly at POk. You have presumed incorrectly it solely for him. WRONGLY

My reply is a joke in that I didn't know people would take it seriously so when say I don't know how POK voted twice it tongue in cheek. CHILL OUT

You turn on him in the Leeds Ticket Prices thread. (Where it's the Leeds fans who deserve a blast.)

I went to Uni for 3 years, only worked for one of them. Got up about midday most days, was pissed up about 5 nights a week and didn't really bother with lectures.

Got a 2:2 but it was the best 3 years of my life and I couldn't give a shit that the rest of the country hated us!

Gotta agree with most of that. Used to just laugh off the "Lazy Student" tag. Ended up with a 2:1 meself, But the social life etc was cracking for the 4 years, and the degrees come in handy when finding new jobs too

As I say, I don't think that there should be a national student discount for tickets just in order to save money - it would make commercial sense as well - if you have cheap tickets for young people, you would attract more young people to watch the game itself and get more investment into the Club and the community around it.

I have defended POK on other threads, (I think he will even back that up) I even posted I would be his defence consellor on the "witchcraft" trial of POK.

So if someone posts something I disagree with whether it POK, another poster, even an administrator, I , as you put it, turn on them, ask Mr I.

This is a message board, what he put on a particular thread gets a reply from me , on the thread in particular.

Just out of interest, WHY is it the actual Leeds fans who deserve a blast on the Leeds ticket thread. As far as I'm aware no Leeds fan SET THE PRICES, Bates and the Leeds board did , so it not the fans who deserve a blasting on that particular thread. Woody for example actually seems to be having a go at the price scales ( disagreeing with them) so why have a go at him, when he's saying he actually agrees with Pools fans that they overpriced.

In my opinion POK changed the thread by unilaterally going away from the prices of one particular club (Leeds in this case) by stating

"Every League Club in the Country should have a discount for students/under 21s - it would help attract a lot of people along to watch games generally."

It was that statement that made me respond in the way I did, some clubs can't afford to do that, they don't get the attendances. With regards to the "So what are students" thread, every man and his dog must realise that it a bit of humour, you of course may think differently, that's your choice and opinion, which I respect, you may even believe it not humour once more your choice, but it is not as you seem to be saying me having a blast at POK in particular. The last poll I put on here, was entitled "Whose face" would you borrow on Halloween night to scare the kids, I WON IT because I added my own name. Others even posted they were upset they hadn't. It was a simple bit of fun, nothing more. Exactly like the ""so what are students" thread. Read what some ex students say on it , some seem to believe that even when they were students, that students were lazy, didn't work only drank and stayed in bed. By the way I attended college for further education, didn't attend Uni, so in way I was saying the same thing about myself from many years ago.

I been to uni twice and have to say all i did was drink like a fish and stay in bed ended up with a 2:1 and a destinction in my masters, you only have to work when needed and this was in the last year of my degree and about 2 days a week doing my masters.

If i won the lottery i would enrole in another uni instantly just for the social side of it.
