This little local lass was lured away and killed by someone on Facebook, posing as a 16 year-old.
Just can't get my head round the state of mind of a bloke who could cold-bloodedly plan and do that sort of thing.

Anyway, the bloke was on the Sex Offenders register and was supposed to be being tracked by the police. In fact he'd changed his address and no-one was any the wiser. So much for the Sex Offenders register.

'People' on the Sex Offenders register who get hounded out of their homes by local vigilantes, then disappear. That's how predators like this can be hard to track for the Police. I'm certainly not defending this bloke, but I doubt that his intention when arranging his meeting was to kill this poor girl.

It also says a lot about our society that she felt the need to find herself a boyfriend online like this, when by all accounts she was a lovely well mannerred outgoing girl, who possibly felt that she would be ignored by lads who may be put off by her lack of over idealised standards expected off potential girlfriends.
