But that article is typical of the way the Government side-steps facts. Facts aren't important. This guy is (apparently) an expert in his field and claims to have evidence for what he's saying. Instead of listening to the evidence, the Home Office puts out a snotty statement about the views being 'entirely his own'.

Trouble is, you can pick an 'expert' out for whatever viewpoint you want to believe.

I dropped a can of Guinness on my toe last week & it feckin nacked.
In 1994 I dropped a tab of acid on the same toe & never felt a thing.
That is indisputable proof of the dangers of alcohol compared to LSD

I wouldn't be surprised.
I take Snowy's point but what I meant was that evidence is something that should be looked at independently of whether it agrees with the current Govt line.

Same here for PC and me, well the Dublin part anyway. Quite often in the Ha'penny Bridge Inn, reasonably priced for Temple Bar.
