Very few US Presidents have won the Nobel Prize in office, so he must have been doing something right.

At least he's an inspiration to people, which was less than could be said to George W. Bush's approach after 9/11.

In my opinion, what the Nobel Committee in Norway are basic saying by giving Obama the prize is that they could think of no-one but him to give it to this year.

If that is true then it rips away the last vestiges of standing from an already devalued award. Mind you, when you consider that Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini and Kissenger were all nominated then its no suprise they make strange choices.
