Same old same old..........Tories arguing that labour are poo and Labour arguing the Tories are poo.........and then the enlightened approach looms.........why don't we vote Lib dems.
The Lib dems are wonderfully electable..........do you know why???? Let me tell you why. They know for a definite fact that they WILL NOT form the next government. Which means they will NEVER HAVE TO DELIVER ON THEIR PROMISES.
In Hartlepool a vote for the Lib dems will increase the chances of a Tory getting in. Why???? Because the Tories will turn out en masse for their candidate. The labour vote will be decimated by people not bothering to vote, a few voting for the Tories and a few voting for the Lib dems.
If you want Labour in....vote Labour
If you want Tories in.....Vote Tory, Lib dem or abstain.
That is about the size of it.
Happy voting!!!!!!

Never mind the lib dems I can't stand the Dimbleby's. They're part of the favoured few who the BBC lash out licence fee money too for no apparent reason. You can't put the radio on without hearing Steven Fry for instance or that Anne Atkins or the token dyke Sandie Toksvik.

The Labour deluded and the Tory deluded can vote for their parties till the cows come home and drown in their own dogma, because their votes count for sod all. The "I've always voted Tory and I've always voted Labour" droids who vote like their parents just cancel each other out. my vote will count however because I'm a floating voter, I vote on what's best for me and we are the people who decide who gets elected, not those whose votes can be taken for granted.

On the other hand turnout is often so low that it's the none voters that allow canditates who don't fairly reflect the views and interests of the community they represent to be elected. Your constituency MP still represents you in Parliament whether you voted for, against or not at all. There are precedents for making voting compulsory, in Australia for instance, but look at the turkeys they elect there though.

There's only one way forward, Comrades, the Republic Of England. Sod the Welsh and the Scottish and if you don't do your job in the Government, you get sacked, toute bloody suite.

It would be interesting if someone called Ian Wright stood. You might think it would help split Iain Wright's vote and allow someone else in.

Robert Blatchford wrote a popular little book back in the C19th called "Merrie England", he was before his time, had he had his way...we would be living a socialist utopia right now and Nu Labour would never have happened! What a pity.
