There does seem to be a speed problem but its not at the hosting end. We are using a small proprtion of the resources and there has at no time been a qos error or warning in the log. Basically its not the hosting.

That leaves us with two options;
Theres a problem with the phpbb installation (This is actually my main suspect given we also have the search fault) or its a localised problem. I can't really judge from here because since I moved out to the sticks my connection speed has been shite compared to what I'm used to.

I'm going to do two things; install the latest version of phpbb, this has been overdue for a while. It will mean the board will be down for a couple of hours while I sort it out. I'll let everyone know when its going to happen, probably this weekend sometime.

i know the wife goes on a website for the blind and the lass who runs it had a hell of a job changing everything to phbb3 mind she is blind like so it took that bit longer to get things running smoothly
