The pitch is lovely because of the amount of s h i t e that goes on it

We played so many balls on the deck tonight that were getting us in decent positions but we struggled to carve out any real decent openings but if we done it continuously we'd have got something eventually. So many times though it was just one big punt and ended in fck all.

I can't help but feel there is only one person who forces this style of play onto us.

Did we used to play so many long balls when Turner was in charge first time round. I thought we played decent ball to feet quality football. Was Turner in charge when we beat Grimsby 8-1 and the same season beating Swansea 7-1. Swansea was quite funny when there keeper got injured took him about 2mins just too stand up everytime he got the ball untill that ginger muppet Tait went in goal.

Sorry just to clarify which bit are you saying no to? The long balls about his first stint, Turner in charge for the 8-1 or both?

Cooper was in charge for that Grimsby game.

However, Turner was in charge during the best sustained run of home form I can remember. That was 2001/02 when we scored 7 past Swansea (just imagine that now!), 5 past Rushden and Southend, 4 past Torquay and Hull etc....

I would prefer 4 past Hull City now than 7 past Swansea least then we would be in Premiership.
