anyone retuned their digibox(the legal ones) and found they have no channels well it looks like you have to buy a new one because the one you have they have turned it into a brick,they said it's only happened to so many percent but it works out at around 220 thousand at 20 snodgers a pop is a lot of money

just do a hard reset of the box and it may start working again. probs most likely a reset button somewhere

they have a list of them on their website of the ones you have to replace,there was an interview with the woman who runs freeview and she just said people would have to replace them,she got a bit flustered when he said it worked out about 220 thousand she did'nt have a reply to that

Oh. Whats the deal with people needing to retune their freeviw anyway? I dont really have much to do with freeview as its pants :laugh:

if it's the freeview built into the tele's too then my nana is gunna be well fucked, it took her 10 years to buy a video player, just as she gets the hang of that they bring out dvd's, she has a dvd player plugged in but never used.

This will finish her off

Me mam's the same Mr.Yubep!!!! confised confised

Got her a very good DVD Player with Cinema Sound etc about 2 years ago....she's never used it....even after showing her about half a dozen times how to!!!! confised confised

Last week when I was down there she wanted to know why her CD's wouldn't work on her Record Player!!!! confised confised

She'd actually tried playing them on it!!!! confised

I shouldn't laugh but.... :laugh: :laugh:

Do you remember when they used to do test transmissions on the radio and telly for stereophonic sound and you had to line them up so you could hear what it was like being run over by a train.

I might have made that last bit up :laugh: .
