The branding of the divisions might have changed, but you can't take the character of the division out.

League 2, to some will always have the old "Third Division" mentality.

What a load of bollox,'third division' is no better than league 2.
In the good old days it was DIVISION 4 (or the 4th division)

It will always be the 4th division, whereas we are in League One.

I might identify more with when 'Pools were in the Nationwide Building Society Football League Division Three when I was young, but I think the same "Fourth Division" mentality was there even when it became the Third Division.

What I will say is that I think the Football League is that after they rebranded the divisions as the Championship etc, I think they are doing an excellent job trying to sell the Football League as the "Real League for Real Fans".

That was the second time in around 10 years that they had done that.

Is that all you used to call it?

Me n my pals used to call it ..."The newly rebranded and reformed, with an invigorating name for the future of lower league english football, in association with, but not run by, sponsored by, but not owned by, The Uk's very own Nationwide Building Society, providing a series of credit cards, debit cards, banks and mortages, for the uk, use your card abroad with no extra charge, a 4.9% variable fixed rate mortgage for the next 5 years, also providing house, car and pet insurance, call today free on 0800 567 567 Football League Division Three."

we we're glad it changed to coca cola really.
