just been discussing this with the chipster here and we really couldnt hear you in the town end for anything past the first 15 minutes or so - this may well be something to do with the fact that you're on an open side and half of the noise will disappear to your left.

Ain't knocking the effort as chipster says it was loud as hell in the seats, just doesn't travel well.

Still, not that chewed, we won clappp

Although I wasnt at the game I have to say well done to those involved anything to help the club is good in my eyes and everyone knocking those peoples efforts can go and swivel. Anyway my point is although most of the nose will be lost to the open side on the left, this will travel to the away rink end and create an atmosphere with the away fans, just a thought like.

Also agree than this area shouldnt be moved and stay were it is for now until it gathers more momentum.

I have not heard one person criticising the singing section idea so I dont know where this attitude that it was slated by most of the people is coming from. It was a great idea and I cant see any reason for saying otherwise

Fully concur on all of the above Mr Grave.

Big well done to all involved, including the kebab eating drama queen who wants to have a go at those who didn't join in.

Although I did not join the singers over in the corner I did give you all a big pat on the back for effort and long may it continue. clappp

I stayed in my confort zone along with the rest of the poolymads over in the CK stand but we did wave our flags though. rolf

One guy had a chunter about said flags but my granddaughter soon shut him up with a sharp poke in the eye.

i fully concur. it is a great idea, but the noise will be lost due to the open end and high roof. would the club possibly think about housing the away fans in the town end? it would make sense to house them there as it is the closest point to the town centre parking and train station. less work for the muskers.

then if we get the rink end back, i believe the rink end has possibly the best acoustics for singing in the country, never mind the vic.

just a thought like. bring back the good old days

The problem was, at one point, it seemed half the people in there disappeared. It was full, then half empty.

It was loud for a while, but at half time, we moved to the town end side. Nobody joined us.

Maybe next time, we all stay in the same spot. And I think there has to be a next time, in the same place.

We talked about moving it around, but maybe to build up momentum it needs to stay there.

yer we didnt know you,d moved think it better to stay in one spot but well done everyone it was great

Spoke to people who where not at the game but were walking the dog on Grays and they said they could hear,
The noise was not the main issue for me it was getting players. manager. club and fans UNITED and that was achieved.

Is it so important that the rest of the ground can't hear it?? sctatchinghead

Surely the main thing is that it's established that the fans appreciate the players and the players know that, 'cos it's been publicly stated??

And the fans have a good time at the game?? I watched the highlights and you CAN hear the singing. Clearly. clappp clappp

I know I wasn't there like...
