Honest to God....Message Boards have been around a few years now....so you'd have thought that people would've stopped pulling others up on Spelling/Grammar etc by now!!!!

It REALLY is the most Tedious and sad thing anyone can ever do on a Public Forum!!!!

For Fecks sake....Grow the Feck Up....it's not big and it's not clever....it just makes you look a Kunt!!!!

Whilst I agree with your sentiments Mr Mutley I was somewhat concerned at your overuse of the exclamation mark. To use it four times at the end of a sentence is clearly incorrect, an error you repeated several times. Similarly, to use four full stops at a point in the sentence where no punctuation is required is frankly confusing. Finally; use of capitals in the word 'really' distracts the reader from your message and is clearly a somewhat bizarre use of capitalisation.

Other than that, excellent C+

There should be an apostrophe in the third sentence (feck's).
Re your overall argument, if you think spelling and grammar are unimportant you are contributing to the slow demise of the English language, the future of which is in our hands.

To be fair, he didn't say he thought they were unimportant, he just objects to having his mistakes pointed out.

However, I agree with you otherwise...I like spelling and grammar too.

For me, like, a fair stab at being right is OK.

Trust me, last night, I had a student who wanted to know the difference between a subject noun clause and an object noun clause and when I'd got to the bottom of that, he threw in predictive.

Now Monty can sort all that out, but my message is if you want to call me m8, I'll punch yer in the gob.

Some people can spell well; others can't.
People having a go at others spelling will mean some who can't spell very well not coming on here.
Sometimes peoples comments are judged harshly because they can't spell very well too -which is bollocks.
Why post something if you think others will shoot you down without even getting round to your point?
Spelling is irrelevant to knowledge of and debate about football.
In my opinion its petty to criticise others for it on here and it will mean less people posting.

I agree with Mr Mutley regarding spelling. If you can read and understand the posting then it doesn't matter too much on these forums if the spelling isn't totally correct.

However, people purposely writing in retarded "txt spk" is something I can't abide and I usually don't bother with their message, which defeats the object of them posting. Thankfully on The Bunker "txt spk" is fairly uncommon...well, until one or two people now reply to this using it
