To be fair club's have turned around worse starts than this. Macclesfield being one example. Gary Speed is one name being linked with a move here.

I have never heard of an instance where a bloke had been told "win today or you're out" That is so incredibly so term in thought. It may well be the correct decision but it's no way to go about it.

You wont find me disagreeing with you over the 9 games thing. However, just because someone posts on a messageboard that Singh has said "win or your out" doesnt make it true. Some pools fans experiences of putting things on messageboards should tell you that you shouldnt believe everything you read on there no matter how true you think it might be! I know a few people "in the know" & none of them have said Todd was told that.

Under the new ownership then yes. It's easy to laugh after what's happened over the past few years, the club has movef foeward and are heading in the right direction off the pitch. We've set a budget and we won't break that.

I was reading the other day you can't even buy the kit and I constantly read people moaning about other issues. You hardly know anything about Singh.

We don't expect to make everything great off the pitch over night. Personally, I've seen a few good changes, and I'm continuing to see progress being made. The reason our team is where it is, is because we are well run. We are getting the team the fans deserve. An increase in attendance will see an increase in the budget.

Relying on someone or a company to sub you for a million or so a year isnt being well run, its being lucky. If sticking to a budget we can afford gets us relegated then so be it. Im sick of being bothered about it, but thats to do with the way football is run in general & the obscene amounts of money being paid to third rate so called stars at the top level. Thats why smaller clubs get in trouble, trying to keep up. Also the fact that theres a risk of a looney gettting hold of a club & building oversized stadiums or racking up debt while asset stripping.

We are indeed lucky to have IOR but then, so long as they can afford to loan/gift the club the xtra £750k / £1m a year surely that is running the club properly

You didn't seem that bothered about the 'looney' then. You didn't seem bothered about George II either when he was chucking money at your playing squad. Their was nothing 'lucky' about IOR buying Pools either, Harold Hornsey wouldn't have sold us to them otherwise. We had the right man in charge then who was running the club well. Ask anyone who's played for Pools our club is ran very well.

You probably wont believe me but I had my doubts about George Mk2 during his very first speech to the fans after a home match. Nothing happened after that made me change my mind because every time he said anything he sounded as bad as George Mk1. I did however, as ElvisC knows, get taken in by George Mk1 along with god knows how many others. That changed as soon as Hodgy walked out. Didnt even bother with the BOGOF offer. Never trusted any chairman since, including Singh. Its up to him to prove hes in it for the good of the club and not his own ego trip.

You know this 'relying on a company to give you a handout........' thing is so hackneyed now. There must be something else you can find. It's just become an urban myth. They need a company within the EU, being Norwegian, and the tax breaks that they can get by having one dwarfs what they spend on us.

Whats the point in moving to some 25,000 seater stadium of we are only going to get a few thousand fans in it. Financially it just makes no sense. The Vic suits us perfectly well and the club would lose supporters moving the ground to an out of town area where people are not within walking distance.

He isnt worth the time arguing with he thinks their stadium is fantasitc. If you think MK Dons, Donny etc are brilliant

He is living in a dream world clutching at straws to get a bite, knowing full well that they will have the "best" ground in the conference next year, let him have is glimmer of hope and concelation.
