Apparently you are allowed to add a minute if a goal is scored in extra time. The ref added it for Utd, when City scored but blew up 20 secs after Utd scored.

So tell me the whole thing isn't bent. rolfl rolfl rolfl

Was hughes complaining about the added on time in 1993 against sheff wed when bruce scored in about the 9th minute of injury time?

Was he hell, he was a man u player then.

Swings and roundabouts hughes.

You can't complain about the added on time at OT when he used to be part of it!

All i was saying was he's complaining now, but i bet he wasn't then, when the shoe is on the other foot people are happy to complain, but whilst he was enjoying that extra free time man u seem to get I bet he never done a bbc interview complaining about it like he did yesterday.

The whole thing isn't bent!

Don't know where you heard that minute rule. You add the time on that is lost. So if Bellamy's celebration took a minute, and there was a substitution, (+30 seconds) and Owen scored after 5 and a half minutes of stoppage time, why would you add on another minute because Owen scored? There had been 4 minutes of playing time added. Why would there need to be any more?

How silly of me to forget, The 'extra' injury time was specifically for Man Utd. Don't the other team get it too?

At the end of the day people are acting as if the ref somehow cheated by playing 6 minutes additional time.

The assistant held up the board signalling a MINIMUM of 4 extra minutes (could have been 4 mins and 55 seconds) plus 30 for a sub is already 5 and a half minutes.

Are people seriously suggesting that the referee purposely played past the 90 minutes in order to let Man Utd score sctatchinghead

Well you're the ref mate so I'm reluctant to argue, but according to the press, the FA rules state that a sub can add half a minute and a goal can add a minute and it's all down to the discretion of the bastard in the black.

Maybe you can elucidate why the board said 4 mins and they played 7?? sctatchinghead

They never played 7 they played about 5:30.

The bellamy celebration took a minute cos the no necked little twat ran into the corner and danced about infront of the camera which took a minute.

Man city added to there own down fall really, that extra minute was there own fault for over celebrating.

Man Utd scored after 95:28 so its perfectcly plausable that the goal was scored in time even if the ref didnt add the 'extra minute' for the goal celebration

The game finished, according to the Sky theft we were watching, on 96.58. There was seven goals, four substitutions and three bookings. The time from Bellamy's goal to the kick off was 44 secs.

I'm keen to hear what Mr Norton's opinion is.

did the ref add time on for bellamys goal like? If so how much?

A minimum of 4 mins were added. The key word there is minimum. This means that it could have been anything from 4 mins exactly to 4:59. There was a sub which adds 30 seconds to the time. Owen scored after 5:28 of extra time. Do the math. The goal was scored during regulation time, FACT!

How come, in all of my time watching football (27 years) have I only known one team who get away with this sort of crap time and time again?

Dress it up how you want but that goal was scored well after the 4 minutes of injury time were played. If it had happened for Pools and we'd scored under those circumstances, everyone on here would be laughing and joking about how lucky we'd been and how the ref made a mistake.

Manure fans could be gracious and admit this as most fans would. They don't. This is one of the reasons that their club is despised by true football fans.

Refs are shyte scared of Ferguson. The sooner he goes, the fairer football will be for all involved.

The refs are bent and massively favour the top top four. Man Utd have been on the right end of a hell of a lot of decisions as stated by ADG. Spurs should of also had a pen on sunday but howard webb showed what a bottler he is yet again.

It's about time the refs grew some balls....

Here are a few simple facts

Man Utd PLC are a bunch of 'lovely lovely person'
Man Utd PLC fans are a bunch of 'lovely lovely person'
Anyone who doesn't agree with the above is a bounder
Anyone who thinks I am a bounder is a bigger 'lovely lovely person' then me

FACT!
