Depends really what you're after doing with it... If its just gonna be your standard Web Browsing / Microsoft Word and other bits and bobs its ideal.

generally speaking, the only snag with trying to buy anything from the States is that you need to have your credit card or whatever registered within the USA to make the purchase. I tried to hire a car before I went there using the American websites of all the usual rental places, but they all refused to recognise any of my payment cards. I had to use the European website, and had to pay a shi-tload more for the same f-ucking car!!! rage

So I ended up doing a deal with them when I got to the airport, more or less at the price the Yanks would pay.
Rip off Britain extends in every direction!!!

personally i think that site is a dud. If you look at the first e its a completely different font to the second e. It just doesnt look right. If you type onsele into google it doesnt bring anything up on this site at all (which is very strange). Coupled with the fact that some of the prices are stupidly cheap (rip off britain or not) then i honestly cant see it being kosher. A 50 inch panasonic tv worth 1200 quid for a little over 300 is impossible in my eyes.

A little bird tells me that the site is actually Chinese.
I was initially told about this site by a friend who reckons he has used them but if I reckon up the price plus postage Im probably only saving £40 to £50 compared to using Asda.
As the old saying goes,if something looks too good to be true then it probably is.

Looks genuine, just did a look for the domain registration and its registered to a company call pcmall which is a big online retailer here in the states. But personally still not sure

I got a reconditioned LG 42" plasma which retails for £900 odd brand new, I paid £300 odd for it from a place in Oldham called Electrotec with a year's guarantee, but if it lasts 3 or 4 years before it blows up I'll be reasonably happy
