Great Stuff!

But I DO rather like the new-ish "We Don't Care About Darlo" song, plus its a good "Filler" because it's a long one!

I've started another thread where hopefully we can come up with the definitive Pools Chants list..not that it'll be set in stone, but it'll be a good reminder/guide on Saturday!!

That song is shit FACT

I haven't been paying too much attention to the atmosphere threads so apols if this has already been said but the atmosphere has always been best when the blueorder boys were allowed in the seats by The Corner Flag.

Can't that corner be designated for those that want to sing sctatchinghead

The thing is, the atmosphere may be good for the first few minutes on saturday but once the first mistake is made, unless the 'singers' out shout/sing the moaners, we'll be back to square one very quickly.

Lift the blueorder bans and the atmosphere will return, that's my humble opinion :coool:

Yes let's unban the people who caused violence at football grounds, lift the bans and let them do it again eh!

why not just release all the rapists and murderers from prison to whilst we are at it?

They got banned cos they pathetically decided that supporting a rival club was a reason to have a fight.

Keep them out, i'd rather have a shit atmosphere then loads of boot boys singing anti darlo songs and trying to 'get at' the away fans through a sea of 50 coppers!

how often have you actually seen fighting in that corner sctatchinghead How often have you seen fighting at pools matches sctatchinghead bravado (when in numbers), nothing more and it adds to the atmosphere IMHO. The same as releasing rapists and murderers, you're just being silly.

I fail too see how 20-30 GROWN MEN in stone island gear shouting songs about darlo to 43 Bournemouth fans creates a better atmosphere?

well to be fair, it never happened before when there was '43 bournemouth fans', it happened when there was a decent away support with similar 20-30 GROWN MEN in stone island gear in the away end.

My point being, the atmosphere has always been far better with their support IMHO and no, I am not a hoolly or a hoolly wannabe just opinion from what I witness watching pools.

The atmosphere may well be better but at what cost?

You get the fighting at the train station, the fighting in church street, the attempted fights in the ground.

Is it really worth it?

Well I know I'm old but these grown men in Stone Island looked about 16 to me and I'm more scared of cockroaches than I was of them.

I ended up in the middle of a ruckus at Sheffield Wednesday, going back to the car, and when a 12 year old challenged me, I picked him up and carried him 20 yards outside the melee, asked him if he wanted to go to Hartlepool and be thrown off the end of the Banjo Pier and the smell of poo was palpable. My mate Bob wrote HUFC backwards on his forehead with a biro and I'm sure he's a good boy now.

Cheered us up no end and we won on penners as well AND caught last orders in the local in Worksop.
