The bit where his wife was saying about her daydreaming about him getting back on stage and then telling herself to stop punishing herself was a real tearjerker, as was the bit at the end where he said he wouldn't change anything if he had his time over again.

Superb documentary. Anyone who hasn't seen it should get it watched, whether you like his music or not.

Watch it here

Aye, agree with you all - had seen it before. He's one of my heroes & we both worship the music of Joe Meek. As you all say, it really pulls at the heartstrings. None of us know what's around the corner and nothing can be taken for granted.
He was on Radio 4 on their morning news programme a few weeks back & performed at the recent Edinburgh Fringe.
He remains upbeat and says he is lucky to be alive – a positive role model for others.

Humbling and inspirational!

Puts Pools' home form slightly into perspective don't you think?

I haven't seen the documentary but totally agree with EAD and the rest on Collins' brilliance.

Just to change the the subject slightly, if I may ... has anyone seen The Filth and The Fury, the Sex Pistols film? I saw it for the first time over the weekend, nothing new that I/we probably didn't already know, except for ....

Sid Vicious claiming he invented the pogo dance. True? Anyone know different.

And what a horrid slag that Nancy Spungen was.
