I think his point is that Tommy Miller, ex-pools, is on as a sub for Sheff Wednesday, it wasn't fooking rocket science !

I think we have to draw a line somewhere. An ex player who left 8 years ago and comes on as a sub for 13 minutes or so in what, to us is a meaningless game. Should that really get a mention on here

PoK has a comment to make and he made it well. There's plenty of comment about Darlow on here. What's that to us? Should it get a mention? Tommy Miller was a well-liked Pools player. I think it's interesting to see how far he's fallen.

Why dont we just set up a 'sticky' thread at the top and those who are interested could list our ex players and post notifications as and when they play.

So on a football board, a Hartlepool United one, you think making a new thread about a Tunnocks Caramel Log has more relevance than a thread about Tommy Miller, ex Hartlepool United player who was rumoured to be coming back in the summer?

You go ahead with your plan Tree, there is certainly no reason why you shouldn't, but don't be dissapointed if each thread isn't as 'active' as this one has been, and it will not be a stain on your character, or be held against you, if they're not.

maybe because none of the players involved will be playing in games that are live on the box
