I went to the Tech, with the first year spent at Tunstall Court. Rosebank was too far to run with my trousers round my ankles, so I made do with the nice boys at St Francis's. :wink:

When I got to Lauder Street, some of us would nick out and sit on the wall watching the girls at the Convent playing tennis. The nuns would chase us away! The bastads (cADG) never caught me. sadx

And on Call My Bluff tonight, Cornelius give us your definition of "banjaxed".

It originates from Alabama. In 1948, in the town of Edwardsville, the KKK decided to close down the local negro jazz club once and for all. They chased the coloured people out of town then held a ceremonial chopping up of a banjo found in the rubble of what was left of the club.
