I usually have last.fm playing in the background if I want music while I read on t'internet.

can't you download it onto the bairns computer and use your password,i did with our lasses laptop and it worked

Basically, it's an online library of music - you just search for the song/artist/album you want, and play it (not all artists are available, but a huge amount are and are being added all the time).

The free version allows you to listen to a few tracksbefore and advert clicks in, then plays a few more tracks (and so on..) - pay £10 a month and you don't get any adverts.

I suppose the difference between it and last.fm is you can play full albums on Spotify, and there are no 30 second samples of tracks - if it's on Spotify you can listen to all of the track.

It's also available on iPhones now as an app - which is a brave move by Apple to allow it as it renders their iStore pretty much useless.

Try WE7 instead, they have the same contracts in place as Spotify so you will find the same artists and albums.

last.fm isn't the 'wireless' Mutters......
