I thought Sam Collins played well although Monkhouse would have got my vote.

I couldn't hear any booing but there wasn't the usual cheer that normally follows the announcement.

only time I havent cheered a MOTM announcement was during Boyd's first spell at the club, I think he scored and played a blinder and the man of the match was given to I think matty robson, I just turned to my mate and said "eh who picks this the blind school"

As usual Liddle should have been motm but I never heard any reaction to it being given to Collins.

You'd begin to think, being down to 3200 home fans on a nice sunny day right between paydays that we've got a fair proportion of dyed in the wool moaning colpo's (see your medical dictionary) who are beginning to outnumber or at least equal the level headed genuine fans. Some people only go because their wives bully them and they vent their collective spleens with a full fortnights-ful of spite in them.

Piss in their pockets and give em something to moan about.

Must have just been the people around you, nothing was said around me (also in the Town End) and I'm pretty sure somebody battling away towards the end of a tough 90 minutes wouldn't have picked up on it either.

Monkhouse only played for 12 minutes, he did bugger all before we equalised. McSweeney was probably the brightest attacking player over the full game although again he didn't deliver much end product.

I'd have given it to Liddle who strolled through the game again, but Collins did nothing wrong apart from one shanked pass into the Millhouse it wasn't outrageous to give him MOTM.
