Here is the england team...

England: Brown, Stoney, Asante, White, Alex Scott, Jill Scott, Chapman, Aluko, Williams, Carney, Kelly Smith.
Subs: Chamberlain, Johnson, Sue Smith, Unitt, Handley, Sanderson, Westwood, Bassett, Buet, Clarke, Bardsley.

Good too see alex and jill scott playing.

Kelly Smith is a predator and aluko can run the game from the midfield.

Westwood is unlucky to miss out.

I'm looking forward to seeing williams who looked well up for the last game.

They are bigging up england on the bbc

"The time is here, the time is England's. Germany have been hot and cold all tournament long and have failed to produce the scintillating form we know they can on a consistent basis. Hold onto your hats folks (and PoK no hat waving), methinks we are in for a shock."

Surely Unitt should be playing, I mean I'm sure most of the Germans are units as well we've got to match their physical presence and copious pit hair.

I'm well up for the thread about this game, come on England split arses!!

If we win this tournament will it eclipse our world cup win of 66?

Just had a sneak online preview from the live stream " Sixteen minutes to kick-off and the Olympic Stadium in Helsinki is totally full Of empty seats. How much are the tickets for this game?"

For me yes, as I wasn't alive for that and couldn't enjoy threads about it.

I mean I've watched as much live action of this tournament as I did in 66 (none of it) and am going to watch Neighbours instead of the final but that doesn't mean it isn't important to me. To be honest I wouldn't be able to watch anyway it would be unbearable.

Im gutted Rachel Unitt is not playing. She is not only a very talented player but she has something appealing about her.

Well I've bit the bullet to see what these threads are all about and put on BBC Two, to my shock their are 22 women playing football (yes, I know) They have nets and everything, even the ref is a woman.

I've now seen it all.
