They're at it again!!!

At first we were afraid, we were petrified;
Kept thinkin' we could never live without our beloved side;
And we spent so many nights thinkin' how the Georges did us wrong;
But we grew strong, when Raj Singh came along;
And now we’re back, from outer space;
11 players on the pitch each week although somewhat lacking pace;
At first we couldn’t score a goal, we’re in the relegation hole;
But now that we have put one in, we just need that first elusive win.

Come on Darlo, come to the fore;
Just have a shot now, 'cause if we don’t we’ll never score;
Weren't they the ones that thought we’d finally said goodbye;
We mustn’t crumble we cannot lay down die.
Oh no, not us, we will survive;
For as soon as we learn how to win I know we'll stay alive;
We've got 40 games to play, only half of them away;
And we’ll survive, we will survive.

It took all the strength we had not to fall apart;
George Houghton tried to drive a stake right though our heart;
And we spent oh so many nights;
Just feeling sorry for ourselves, we used to cry;
But now we hold our heads up high;
And you see us reborn anew;
Oh the star names may all be gone, and the skills left be few;
But if you feel like droppin' in, and just expect an easy win;
You’ll be surprised, the Mighty Darlo’s on the rise.
