This is 64th reply on a simple post telling prices for a game.

But this thread has made my day.

I doubt very much that I'll be there due to the ludicrously early kick off time.

Will you be there?

And seeing as though it's a JPT game and the crowds are generally low, how many of the others who've posted on this thread are intending to go?

I'll be there, leaving Leeds at 5, will be in the ground before kick off. That said I might just try and arrange with my boss to go in work half an hour early and leave half an hour early. I am sure my boss would think a month's notice is plenty...

This 'ludicrously long' thread rolfl rolfl

I think the 7 O'Clock kick off time is meant to appeal to kids (the irony  ) so they aren't in bed too late, in the first round last year I think we attracted around 2,800 for a 7 O'clock kick off which is pretty decent for the paint pot so you can't really blame Pools for doing it again.

Plus for those without tucking in duties it means we can have an extra pint or two after the game clappp

Don't let Mr Ripper hear you say that. He doesn't think there is one ounce of comedy in this thread.

What times kick off again Mr R ? I cant be bothered to scroll through all the threads.

I know it's ludicrously early.

Mr R, I was up all night worrying about your dilema and think I have cracked it.

Leave work half an hour early at 4:30 get home (you said could take up to an hour) at 5:30.
Quickly feed and see your son (you said he was only a couple of months old) then put him to bed at 6:30 (what difference would he know being that young). Then get to the match.

Tell your missus that if he gets up in the night you will see to him as you went to the match and put him to sleep early.

Bingo!

Pardon me for expressing a (correct) opinion on a Pools messageboard about Pools having an evening match kick off at a ludicrously early time.

If I miss it I'll just read your match reports on here, see Mr Fetish give out high marks, read about Mr Fireball questioning tactics, discover what Mr Thornley called some of the Grimsby players and find out what Mr Yubep watched on telly whilst not giving a second thought to when he last attended a Pools game...

Mr Compo, I'm guessing that you don't have kids?

If I put him to bed an hour early he'll be wide awake at 5am the next day.

Thanks for the concern though.

At such a ludicrously early kick off I may not be fully awake to mark them properly.

That would be ideal for you, tell your boss you will start an hour early the next day to do your month endings, you can finish early on the Tuesday then, a little bit of flexible hours. Everyone happy.

So you'll be driving up and getting up early the next day to get to work?

I told you I cant I am working in my second job that night 6-11, my boss is a slave driver like yours.

Just put a day holiday in, you've plenty of time to sort it out.

Got no holidays going to Cuba for two weeks, Dam its like the world is against us Ripper also with the kick off being so early I doubt I would get there in time.

Surely with regards the kick off time you just tell your boss that you're going early cos you have an important JPT game to attend?
