Wasn't Gary Liddle bought as a centre back in the first place, I keep reading that this switch is great for him but I thought he was in that position at the smoggies - Please enlighten me someone!

no he was brought in as a midfielder however we knew he could play other positions. He did actually debut at centre back after an injury to nelson. Think he played twice there and did quite well. He then went into midfield.

im sure when we signed him it was said he could literally play in every position apart from striker or goalkeeper.

I think we have definately found his best position now though.
